Beautiful, classic round mirror for clamping to the leg shield.
The chrome-plated mirror is fixed by means of two clamps.
The solid aluminium clamp is ideal for fixing the mirror to the slotted tube of the leg shield. Due to the multiple alignment possibilities, the mirror is always quickly brought into the correct position. The pretty cap nuts always clamp the mirror securely and firmly, the clamp is mounted on the mirror body in a rubber damped bearing. The mirror diameter is approx. 10cm, the mirror surface is convex (convex outwards) and thus creates a wide angle. Thus a large field of view can be covered despite the relatively small mirror surface.
NOTE:
According to StVZO §56 every motor vehicle in Germany, which also includes mopeds, needs at least one mirror mounted on the left side of the vehicle.

- EZ before 01.01.1990 1 mirror left
- EZ from 01.01.1990 up to 100 km/h 1 mirror left
- EZ from 01.01.1990 over 100 km/h 2 mirrors

The size of the reflecting surface must be
- before EZ 17.06.2003 at least 60cm² (for round mirrors the diameter greater-or-equal 88 mm)
- after EZ 17.6.2003 at least 69cm² (for round mirrors the diameter greater-or-equal 94 mm)

TEST MARK:
Mirrors with test marks automatically fulfil all the above conditions.
- Mirrors with test marks must be fitted to vehicles which are approved according to EC law (from 01.10.2005).
- Vehicles with ABE approval (before 01.10.2005) must only use mirrors which meet the above criteria.
