Description
Stefano Benelli’s gearbox parts have a very good reputation in the racing scene, and rightly so.br />br />If you are looking for reliable racing technology for your gearbox, you will find it here.
Hardened to an average of 60 HRC, the Benelli parts offer exactly the perfect balance of sufficient hardness and necessary elasticity to withstand the enormous loads in a racing engine over the long term.
The auxiliary shaft offered here for Vespa small frame engines (e.g. PV125, ET3, PK), have a sportier gear gradation than original. The fourth, or even the third gear is therefore shorter, which means that the gear steps are smaller and the engine remains in the full power range after the gear change. Therefore ideal for high performance engines whose speed must be kept at a constant high level in order to always develop full propulsion.
The Benelli auxiliary shafts can be used with the original gear wheels of the Smallframe models (PV125, ET3, PK). Only the fourth gear is replaced by the enclosed Benelli gear wheel with 49 teeth.
Benelli offers three different graded auxiliary shafts (bold printed the different values to the original gear):
