Therefore they are not cheap compared to industrially produced mass-produced goods, but the final product is worth every cent. The hoods are available in two versions.
The simpler version has no cutout for the exhaust manifold. This can be milled simply by means of Dremel or similar into the hood.
The more complex version has an integrated tunnel for the exhaust manifold. This way the heat radiation is isolated from the cylinder cooling air immediately after leaving the cylinder, thus further improving the thermal balance of the cylinder.
