Ready to mount tyre set consisting of the popular and classic original equipment tyre Michelin S83 with a speed index J (clearance up to 100km/h) and a load index of 42 (150Kg per tyre) as well as the exclusive BGM Pro light alloy rim*.

The set is ideal for use on all Vespa small frame models:

TIRES
The Michelin S83 is THE classic scooter tyre. Used by Piaggio as original equipment on many scooter models in the 1980’s, it rightly has a loyal fan base.
Its classic appearance fits perfectly to the matured classics like the V50 or also the popular PK models. The handling characteristics are very balanced and neutral and offer no surprises in a positive sense.
RIMS
The solid alloy rim from BGM PRO made by FA.Italia saves about 600 grams compared to an original PX steel rim

SAFETY
Due to a double so-called hump in the rim bed, the tire is always safely guided in the rim. Similar to the latest runflat technology in the automotive sector, the air can escape slowly in the event of a foreign object (nail or similar) without the tire slipping into the rim bed. The vehicle thus comes to a controlled stop. The rim has recesses between the mounting points. The cooling of the brake is improved.

FEATURES
The track offset is 2.5 millimetres on the left side. A mounting on both axles equalizes the track offset. This is not noticeable when driving.
The delivery includes six closed high cap nuts (chrome-plated, SW12) as well as a screwed-in metal valve (M8x1,25mm).

NOTES
The rim does not have a test mark and is not road legal.
The tyre pressure must be checked before the first ride and adjusted according to the vehicle.
