Description
Intake manifold -MRP diaphragm LML VA – Vespa Largeframe PX, Rally, Sprint, Cosa, T5 125ccm
The rotary valve control of the Largeframe Vespa models (starting from the VNA models approx. 1962) up to the today’s PX is equally clever as well thought out.
On the 200cc engines, whose rotary valve is designed wider than that of the 125cc models, are now regularly conjured power of over 30HP with a good power band. To match this, we offer flow-optimized MRP rotary valve intake manifolds.
If this is not enough power you have to change to a diaphragm intake. This way the former rotary vane intake can be enlarged without having to consider its sealing effect. The diaphragm integrated in the new intake fulfills the gas control. A carburetor with more than 30mm cross-section can thus be used reasonably.
The diaphragm intake manifolds manufactured by MRP in Germany are designed for use with the high performance diaphragm type of the Yamaha RD350LC YPVS. Available with stainless steel tubing or a flat top CNC machined from aluminum, the nozzles are a great choice. The quality, fit and potential performance are worth every penny.
A big plus of the MRP nozzles is that they do not require an adapter plate, nor does the engine case need to be welded on. Matching diaphragms are available from BGM, V-Force or directly from Yamaha. Racing product without road approval. However, the intake can be registered with an individual acceptance at the TÜV.
