This version of the cover does not have any prefabricated holes for the ignition lock and the indicator lights. The hole for the ignition lock is indicated in the casting and can therefore be easily drilled out with a standard drill. The indicator lights for turn signals and high beam are slightly countersunk in the original cover, these countersinks are missing in this cover.
Qualitatively much better than the FA Italia covers available so far.
Fit and tensile strength of the cast-in threaded sleeves as good as the original Piaggio cover.
