The RMS main shafts are a good replacement for a defective original shaft.
The shaft offered here is suitable for the engines from year of manufacture 1984 with the so-called Lusso transmission (recognizable by the flat shift cross). Since it has no running surface for an internal oil seal, it can be used until 1988. If an engine with an internal rear shaft seal (42x27x10mm) is converted (to the conventional external type (30x47x6mm), this mainshaft is also suitable for all later model years up to today.

- Order shoulder rings for correct adjustment of the installation clearance separately, as required (clearance between gear wheel and shoulder ring max. 0.4mm)
